On October 17, the policy briefing event on digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises in Huizhou's furniture industry was successfully held at Huizhou Huaye Home Expo Park.
The event was hosted by the Huizhou Furniture Industry Association and the Huizhou Intelligent Customized Home Furnishing Professional Committee, jointly organized by Guangdong Soonfor Software Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Huaye Home Expo Park. It aimed to thoroughly implement the provincial and municipal deployment requirements for accelerating the construction of pilot cities for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises and to help furniture SMEs seize digital transformation opportunities.

PART 01 Digital Opportunity
Actively Embrace Change and Start a New Transformation Journey Together
At the beginning of the meeting, Zhou Xuan, general manager of Huizhou Fakasa Furniture Co., Ltd., the executive president unit of the Huizhou Furniture Industry Association, delivered an opening speech for the event.
Mr. Zhou pointed out that Huizhou has a complete industrial echelon that includes many specialized and sophisticated enterprises producing new and unique products. The furniture industry has a solid foundation, a large scale, and a complete industrial chain, and is steadily moving toward the goal of building a hundred-billion-yuan industrial cluster. At present, industrial transformation and upgrading have fully accelerated. Coordinated development toward high-end, intelligent, green, and digital directions has become the core path for stimulating new momentum in the furniture industry of Huizhou and surrounding areas.
Mr. Zhou emphasized that the digital wave is sweeping in and change is unstoppable. Enterprises should take this policy briefing as an opportunity to build development consensus, deepen collaborative cooperation, actively embrace technological change, accelerate intelligent upgrading and digital transformation, and jointly promote high-quality industry development.

PART 02 Policy Guidance
Unlock Policy Dividends and Ignite the Transformation Engine
At the meeting, Ms. He Li, chief of the Industrial Internet and Digital Industry Promotion Section of the Huizhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, gave a special presentation titled Interpretation of the Policy for Applying for Special Funds for Digital Transformation Projects in Huizhou's Provincial Pilot City Program for the Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. She systematically explained the specific requirements, application procedures, and key precautions for enterprises applying for digital transformation projects, and introduced in detail the relevant reward and subsidy policies at the national, provincial, and municipal levels as well as the required application materials.
Ms. He specifically reminded participants that this policy is valid until December 31, 2025, and the last batch of project applications is expected to be arranged in January 2026, so enterprises need to prepare in advance and seize the window of opportunity. Qualified enterprises may receive provincial financial subsidies of up to 40 percent of the actual investment cost of digital transformation projects, excluding tax, with a maximum subsidy of RMB 300,000 for a single enterprise. For projects with investment exceeding RMB 2. million that are rated as benchmark demonstration projects, an additional reward of RMB 500,000 may also be granted. The policy support is strong and the incentive effect is significant, so enterprises should actively apply and seize the dividends of transformation.

PART 03 Practical Empowerment
Learn from Benchmark Experience and Explore Intelligent Home Manufacturing
Policy sets the direction, while implementation depends on practice. At the key stage when digital transformation is shifting from being pushed to being actively embraced, this event not only conveyed policy signals, but also emphasized the output of practical experience and the promotion of replicable models.
From policy analysis on digital transformation to sharing the benefits of digital transformation, Wu Zhihui, key account director of Soonfor Software, combined typical cases of digital transformation in the home furnishing industry to deeply analyze enterprise pain points and digital solutions in core links such as research and development design, production scheduling, supply chain collaboration, and customer management. Through demonstrations of practical results such as data-driven decision-making, efficiency improvement through system integration, and cost reduction through intelligent scheduling, participating enterprises were able to intuitively feel the efficiency gains, cost optimization, and competitiveness reshaping brought by digitalization.
The on-site interaction was lively, and enterprises actively exchanged views on issues such as system selection, implementation cycles, and personnel adaptation, fully reflecting the industry's urgent demand and rational thinking regarding high-quality transformation.

PART 04 Ecosystem Co-construction
Promote Coordinated Innovation and Jointly Paint a New Industrial Picture
This briefing was not only a docking meeting between policy and technology, but also a deep link for the industry ecosystem. The Huizhou Furniture Industry Association played its role as a bridge and link, building an efficient communication platform among enterprises, service providers, and the government, and promoting a favorable ecosystem of resource sharing, complementary advantages, and coordinated development.
As the furniture industry has been incorporated into Huizhou's strategic pillar industries and has received policy support as a pilot field for intelligent customized home furnishing, the industrial agglomeration effect and the advantages of overlapping policies are becoming increasingly prominent.

In the future, the Huizhou Furniture Association will continue to work with professional digital service institutions such as Soonfor Software to carry out full-chain services covering diagnosis, transformation, and application, helping enterprises accurately match transformation solutions and cultivate a number of digital benchmark demonstration projects that can be replicated and promoted.
