On January 15, the 2026 Anhui Smart Home Industry Innovation and Development Salon was held at the Hefei Smart Family Innovation Center. A relevant official from the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the scale of Anhui's smart home industry ranked among the first tier nationwide, forming industrial clusters centered on Hefei, Wuhu, and Chuzhou.

At the meeting, leading figures from the smart home industry across China spoke freely, focusing on core topics such as "paths to improving industrial quality and efficiency," "frontier technologies and integration of industry, academia, and research," and "full-scenario digital-intelligent empowerment." They discussed key links including the construction of industrial digital-intelligent platforms, research and development of home intelligent agents, and innovative application of new materials, injecting frontier concepts and practical experience into industrial development.

At the salon, industry insiders said that in 2025, China's smart home market had already exceeded RMB 1. trillion. By 2030, the national smart home market is expected to reach around RMB 2. trillion. Anhui has a solid foundation in the smart home appliance industry, and based on this, it has outstanding advantages in developing the smart home industry. The overlap of the two industries will create a new trillion-yuan industry.

A relevant official from the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Anhui's smart home industry ranked among the first tier nationwide in scale, forming industrial clusters centered on Hefei, Wuhu, and Chuzhou. It has built a full industrial chain ecosystem from core components to complete machine manufacturing, and from research, development, and design to sales and services.

At the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Anhui Province has continued to include the smart home industry as one of its "top ten emerging industries" for priority development. A relevant official from the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology said that few provinces in China list smart home as an emerging industry. "This is based on our province's relatively solid industrial foundation, and also conforms to the overall national trend of expanding domestic demand and promoting consumption. It is highly aligned with the country's macro strategy."

During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the provincial smart home industry promotion group will focus on clarifying industrial boundaries and definitions, and defining the connotation and extension of the smart home industry. It will promote integrated development among market entities and facilitate deep connection and coordination between smart home and upstream and downstream industries such as real estate, furniture, and home decoration. It will strengthen industrial innovation empowerment, focusing precisely on key links such as transformation of scientific research achievements, integrated application of artificial intelligence, and implementation and promotion of application scenarios. It will adhere to both introduction and cultivation to expand market entities, deeply implement key project attraction through scenario-based investment attraction, merger and acquisition investment attraction, and capital investment attraction, while focusing on cultivating platform enterprises, single-product champion enterprises, and deeply rooted local enterprises. By giving full play to the role of leading enterprises, it will build ecosystem-leading enterprises, make local enterprises bigger and stronger, and create the "Beautiful Anhui Home" industrial brand.
