Compared with 2024, South Korea rose from tenth to first, possibly benefiting from RCEP tariff reductions, deepened China-South Korea building materials cooperation, a recovery in South Korea's real estate market, and revival of its furniture manufacturing industry.

The year 2026 will be a key year for China's wood-based panel trade to transform from scale expansion to quality and efficiency. The main theme will be increasing export volume, recovering average prices, and optimizing structure. Enterprises need to use green standards as the starting point, focus on product upgrading and market diversification, and avoid price wars and trade risks.
