Foshan's stainless steel home furnishing industry has provided its new answer through a collective appearance aimed at the North American market. An online promotion and exchange meeting themed Smart Manufacturing Opens a New Decorative World and a Beautiful Home Future was recently held. Jointly organized by Jinchang International Metal Trading Plaza and the Chencun Stainless Steel Industry Association, and co-organized by stainless steel home furnishing enterprises Fadior and Bogqi, the event focused on industrial collaboration, cross-border matchmaking, and scenario implementation. It connected government departments, industry organizations, park platforms, leading enterprises, and key resources from North American development, design, and procurement sectors, promoting the overseas expansion of Guangdong products from single product export to systematic solution export.
The signal at the opening of the meeting was clear. Tan Xi, deputy director of the Shunde District Economic Promotion Bureau, emphasized in his speech that the bureau will continue to support the home furnishing and building materials industry in moving toward high-end and international development, helping enterprises expand overseas markets and climb toward the upper end of the global value chain. Association representative Wang Junyong also pointed out that integrating local supply chain advantages and connecting with international design concepts and market rules is the inevitable path for industrial clusters to go global. Chen Jinzhao, market development director of Jinchang International Metal Trading Plaza, a member unit of the Chencun Stainless Steel Association and the initiator and organizer of the meeting, said that the online promotion and exchange meeting aims to connect North American development, renovation, and remodeling demand with Foshan Chencun stainless steel whole-house customization supply. Focusing on pain points such as disaster resilience, health and environmental protection, and cost reduction and efficiency improvement, it will promote both sides from awareness to project implementation and jointly explore broad cooperation space in the North American market.

This dual expression of policy guidance plus industrial organization released stronger certainty for enterprises. Going overseas is not fighting alone, but using cluster capabilities to reduce trial-and-error costs and improve delivery efficiency.
The agenda then moved into the core topic of what the demand side really wants. Participants believed that, under the combined influence of climate differences, living habits, and rising operation and maintenance costs in the North American market, attention to high-performance, high-durability, and low-maintenance home furnishing solutions has increased significantly. With comprehensive advantages such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, antibacterial properties, and environmental friendliness, stainless steel home furnishings are entering a new window of opportunity.
The discussion around application scenarios at the meeting also became more practical. From high-humidity and high-frequency areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, and laundry rooms to operating assets such as owner-occupied homes, hotels, apartments, and wellness facilities, the durability, easy cleaning, and stability of stainless steel materials provide North American users with a material selection logic that is operable, maintainable, and manageable.
If the performance discussion answered whether it is worth using, the design topic answered whether it can be used more beautifully. Invited North American architectural design expert Qin Sizhi responded to long-standing industry pain points with overseas project experience. Stainless steel has been upgraded from a traditional functional material to a spatial material. Through surface craftsmanship and design language innovation, it can integrate more smoothly with mainstream North American aesthetics and extend into scenarios such as high-end residences, hotels, and wellness facilities.
This also means that the internationalization of stainless steel home furnishings is no longer just material substitution, but comprehensive competition involving spatial expression, product systems, and delivery experience.
The corporate roadshow and matchmaking session became the most implementation-oriented part of the day. Leading Foshan stainless steel home furnishing enterprises collectively displayed product systems, process technologies, application scenarios, and overseas cases. The North American side focused on issues from a project perspective, including size standards, installation coordination, later maintenance, and supply chain stability. The meeting attracted online participation from 46 North American developers, designers, and buyers, who held targeted exchanges with Foshan enterprises and representatives of traditional stainless steel enterprises in Chencun. Several enterprises clearly expressed cooperation intentions and specific needs.
From display to questioning and from understanding to matchmaking, the enthusiasm at the event also reflected both sides' urgent expectations for pilot projects.
During the roundtable discussion, guests brought the focus back to path selection. Developing the North American market must shift from fighting alone to cluster-based and brand-based advancement, while improving market education efficiency and the speed of mutual trust building through project cooperation, digital displays, and marketing combinations.

The organizer said the meeting is only the starting point. Next, a special matchmaking group will be formed to promote mutual visits, trial order cooperation, and pilot project implementation, gradually building a cross-border collaboration system from design and production to installation and after-sales service.
As cooperation mechanisms become clearer and pilot projects become more specific, Foshan's stainless steel home furnishing industry is accelerating toward the broader North American market with a new posture of collaborative overseas expansion.
