As spring returns to the earth and all things surge with vitality, enterprises across the industrial parks of Dongming County are filled with a galloping momentum of development in the lunar Bingwu Year of the Horse in 2026, and an atmosphere of pressing ahead at full speed can be felt everywhere.

On February 26, inside the production workshop of Shandong Yiyuan Wood Co., Ltd. in Datun Town, Dongming County, 20 intelligent production lines were operating at full load. Workers were busy and orderly rushing out customized home furnishing panel orders for export, presenting a scene of intense activity.

"Since January, the company has signed export orders worth RMB 35 million, and market demand remains strong," said Wang Yinjie, the person in charge of the company. As a backbone enterprise in the wood-industry cluster of Datun Town, Yiyuan Wood is focusing on high-end and international development in 2026, with products exported to more than 20 countries and regions including Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia. At the same time, after the Spring Festival the company will begin construction on a marine panel project with annual output of 350,000 cubic meters. Once completed, the project will fill the regional gap in production capacity for high-end marine engineering panels and further consolidate industrial development advantages.

In Datun Town, eight key projects, including Qingfa Wood and Mengfei Wood, were launched into production in a concentrated manner during the first quarter, while four wood-processing enterprises are making every effort to be upgraded into designated-size enterprises and included in official statistics. The traditional wood-processing industry is rapidly transforming and upgrading from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, showing completely renewed vitality.
