How do you learn ERP? How do you learn ERP systems? ERP systems are an operating model of modern enterprise management and play a vital role in enterprise management. They cover management work in customers, sales, finance, inventory, procurement, and many other areas, achieving maximum resource benefits through the rational allocation of enterprise resources. So how should ERP be learned?
How to Learn ERP:
1. You must have the right mindset when learning ERP To learn and use ERP well, you must first have the right mindset. Learning is not for the company and not for the boss, but for yourself and your career prospects. In the future, ERP will certainly become a widely adopted management tool in enterprises. As an employee or manager, if you do not understand ERP and cannot use it, it will be difficult to achieve good career development. Therefore, learning and using ERP well is for yourself and for improving your personal competitiveness in society. 2. You must learn ERP proactively and systematically With the right mindset, you also need to take the initiative to learn. Many friends who join ERP basic skills discussion groups hope to learn something just by reading other people's exchanges. I can tell you clearly that this passive and careless way of learning makes it very difficult to truly learn anything. Good learning results require a lot of thinking, and then communicating with questions in mind, which leads to better results. Communicating with questions is a powerful supplement to your existing or developing knowledge system. If you only passively watch what others are saying, the knowledge you gain will be fragmented and difficult to organize systematically.

How to Learn ERP Systems:
If you have the opportunity to attend ERP training courses or seminars, that kind of interactive on-site learning is certainly the most effective, because one hour from a good ERP lecturer on stage condenses years of study and practical experience. If you cannot learn on site, then self-study is the only option. Below I recommend several ERP books worth reading. 1. "ERP Guide for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" The first book I would like to recommend is the published work "ERP Guide for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" by Mr. Liu Zhonggang from Taiwan. As both a developer and user of ERP systems, Mr. Liu has accumulated decades of practical experience in the ERP industry. Not many of his books have been officially published in mainland China. Besides this one, I also know of "Comic ERP" and "Twenty-Eight Lessons in World-Class Management," both of which are worth reading. 2. "MRPII Management Technology" The second book I especially recommend is Mr. Liu Zhonggang's "MRPII Management Technology." This book has not been officially published in mainland China, but its main content has already been reflected in several books officially published there. At that time, I transferred money to their office and asked them to mail me a copy. I do not know how many times I have read this book. I only know that it is full of notes and almost falling apart. If you are not careful while reading it, pages may even fall out. The greatest advantage of Mr. Liu Zhonggang's books is their emphasis on practicality. Every detail reflects the richness and essence of his practical experience. Another advantage is that they are easy to understand. Many simple management principles are explained by Mr. Liu in a humorous and approachable style. That is also why I recommend his ERP books first. In addition, reading Mr. Liu's books can help us build many correct concepts about ERP implementation and application. 3. ERP books by Mr. Chen Qishen The greatest advantage of Mr. Chen Qishen's books is that they are highly systematic and rigorous, while also fully incorporating his more than twenty years of insight and experience in the ERP industry. If you have not yet read Mr. Chen's books, I first suggest reading "Starting from Internal Integration (Second Edition)." Mr. Chen is currently revising the third edition of this book, which is truly admirable. Of course, Mr. Chen Qishen's other books are also worth reading. A book may cost only twenty or thirty yuan, but what you learn is the summary of many years of his practice and study. 4. "ERP: Making It Happen" If your English foundation is relatively good, "ERP: Making It Happen" is a book I strongly recommend. It is a classic work on ERP implementation methodology, and many of its methods and concepts are well worth studying and learning from. Recently, I have even tried to write some of the book's essential content on this blog while integrating my own understanding.

Many people, when they first begin learning and applying ERP, do not know where to start or what books and materials to look for. Based on some of my own learning experience, I would like to offer a few suggestions here. Finally, I want to emphasize one key point: if you have access to a mature ERP system while learning, so that you can operate it and gain hands-on experience, the results will be even better.
