Recently, Anji Longwei Furniture officially joined hands with Soonfor Software to launch the MOM intelligent manufacturing operations management project. This is not only an IT transformation, but also a deep transformation covering strategy, processes, organization, and culture, marking a key step for Longwei toward becoming a leading global furniture enterprise.

Introduction to Longwei Furniture
Anji Longwei Furniture Co., Ltd. focuses on the research, development, production, and sales of high-quality furniture centered on sofas, tables and chairs, and upholstered beds. Its export markets cover more than 40 countries and regions around the world, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and New Zealand, providing high-quality products and services for hundreds of millions of families worldwide.

Mindset innovation
Breaking the cognitive gap in digitalization
The wave of digitalization is surging in, and manufacturing is undergoing a profound transformation from experience-driven to data-driven operations.
"The future of manufacturing is won by systems and secured by organizations. Without a digital foundation, globalization is just a castle in the air." Ding Chen, president of Longwei Furniture, strongly agrees with this view. "We have built a factory in Cambodia and set up warehouses in the United States. Our capacity and channels have become globalized, but if internal operations still rely on Excel and experience, we cannot support high-quality delivery." This MOM project is designed to bridge that gap by replacing experience with data and manual work with systems, promoting Longwei Furniture's manufacturing management from extensive to lean.

In the past, many enterprises simply equated digitalization with launching systems or replacing software. Mr. Ma from Soonfor Software pointed out, "There is a cognitive gap between tool empowerment and management model transformation. True digitalization is not about buying a system, but about reconstructing management logic. True transformation must be guided by business value and allow technology to serve process optimization and organizational evolution."

Through systematic integration, Longwei Furniture will establish a unified, transparent, and traceable manufacturing operations platform, laying a solid foundation for subsequent management upgrading and decision optimization. This is the first step of digital transformation and also the most critical one.
Reshaping management
Building an end-to-end digital manufacturing hub
Manufacturing is not an isolated link, but an interconnected and highly collaborative organic whole.
Wu Jun, executive director of the Longwei project, emphasized the importance of this project to the manufacturing center and put forward requirements for relevant departments. He said, "The MOM system is the digital brain of manufacturing operations. Through the MOM system, planning and production can be tightly connected, enabling unified and reasonable scheduling of five core links: planning, production, inventory, process, and quality. It makes order progress transparent and data closed-loop in real time, making manufacturing more efficient, controllable, and intelligent."

Longwei project manager Gao Xiong further explained that this phase covers modules including product structure engineering, production planning, material planning, production execution, and warehouse management. It fully integrates the business flows of multiple departments such as R&D, PMC, production, warehousing, and information, completely breaking down information silos.

The implementation of the MOM project is not only about efficiency improvement, but also about the systematic accumulation of organizational capabilities. Longwei project director Zhu Fengjing systematically explained the core significance and overall goals of the project:
Core significance and overall goals of the project
1. Standardize business processes and strengthen full-process control.
2. Break down departmental barriers and achieve efficient collaborative operations.
3. Accumulate best practices and solidify them into reusable organizational capabilities.
4. Empower continuous improvement and build long-term competitive advantages for the enterprise.
At the same time, Director Zhu announced the project's special management system and cross-departmental organizational structure, and unveiled the project reward fund plan. The mechanism will guarantee project momentum, incentives will stimulate full participation, and all efforts will be made to ensure high-quality implementation of the MOM project.

Soonfor project manager Han Dong gave a detailed introduction to the project team's composition and division of responsibilities, and explained key milestones, collaboration requirements, and precautions during project implementation, laying a solid foundation for efficient and orderly project advancement.

Data-driven development
Moving toward a new pattern of global manufacturing
Today's Longwei has long surpassed the regional label of Anji manufacturing and grown into an innovative leader in the global furniture industry.
In 2024, Longwei accelerated its globalization layout by investing in an intelligent manufacturing base in Cambodia with an annual capacity of 300,000 furniture sets, while also establishing a 120,000-square-foot regional overseas warehouse in the United States, building an efficient global supply chain system covering R&D, production, warehousing, and delivery.
With strong momentum of more than 30 percent compound annual growth, Longwei Furniture is breaking through powerfully with dual drivers of global supply and global sales. Relying on the Soonfor MOM intelligent manufacturing operations system, Longwei is not only driving its own digital leap, but also empowering many furniture enterprises to move toward a new stage of efficient, intelligent, and sustainable growth.
