On January 13, the Zhejiang Furniture Industry Association released a data bulletin on the economic operation of Zhejiang's furniture industry from January to November 2025. The detailed analysis is as follows:

According to statistics from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Bureau of Statistics, from January to November, furniture enterprises above designated size in the province completed cumulative output of 252 million pieces, down 4.5% cumulatively. In November alone, output reached 24.0983 million pieces, down 7.2%.

Among them, wooden furniture output was 53.0728 million pieces, up 1.3% cumulatively, while November output was 4.486 million pieces, down 15.7%.

Metal furniture output was 117 million pieces, down 13.3% cumulatively, while November output was 11.3684 million pieces, down 15.3%.

Upholstered furniture output was 20.9491 million pieces, down 18.8% cumulatively, while November output was 1.8554 million pieces, down 21.3%.

From January to November, furniture enterprises above designated size in the province achieved total industrial output value of RMB 103.349 billion, down 3.6% year on year. In November alone, total industrial output value reached RMB 9.852 billion, down 6.7% year on year.

Cumulative industrial sales output value reached RMB 100.186 billion, down 4.0% year on year. In November alone, industrial sales output value reached RMB 10.093 billion, down 5.9% year on year.

Cumulative output value of new products reached RMB 45.991 billion, down 8.2% year on year. In November alone, output value of new products reached RMB 4.388 billion, down 12.1% year on year.

Cumulative export delivery value reached RMB 40.136 billion, down 9.5% year on year. In November alone, export delivery value reached RMB 3.695 billion, down 10.2% year on year.

The cumulative production-sales ratio was 96.94%, down 0.4% year on year, while the November production-sales ratio was 102.44%, up 0.9% year on year.

According to statistics from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Provincial Bureau of Statistics on 1,197 enterprises above designated size in the province, the economic benefits of furniture enterprises in November were as follows: furniture enterprises above designated size in the province achieved profits and taxes of RMB 8.212 billion, up 3.4%. Among them, operating profit was RMB 4.895 billion, up 0.4%; total profit was RMB 5.158 billion, down 0.2%; and taxes were RMB 3.054 billion, up 9.9%. In addition, operating revenue was RMB 108.482 billion, down 4.9%, and operating costs were RMB 87.198 billion, down 5.4%.

Statistics for furniture enterprises above designated size in the province from January to November show that selling expenses were RMB 5.495 billion, down 1.2% year on year; administrative expenses were RMB 7.069 billion, down 3.3% year on year; financial expenses were RMB 769 million, up 104.2% year on year; research and development expenses were RMB 3.804 billion, up 0.1% year on year; and the average number of employees was 174,600, down 4.8% year on year.
