At the Green High-End Home Furnishing Industrial Park in Lingyun County, leftover scraps from wood processing are being transformed into strong and flat OSB panels through a continuous flat-press production line imported from Germany. "This line specializes in 'eating' scraps and produces eco-friendly high-end panels, improving product added value," said Luo Zenggui, deputy director of the Lingyun County Industrial Park Development Service Center. This scene of turning waste into treasure vividly reflects the continuous extension of Baise's forestry industrial chain. In recent years, Baise has actively promoted enterprises entering parks and industries forming chains, realizing value upgrading through clustering.

Industrial clustering is not a simple concentration of enterprises, but orderly development based on planning. Around wood and bamboo processing and the furniture and home furnishing industry, Baise has built a system of "two cores, three bases, and multiple supporting points," forming a differentiated development pattern. The modern forestry industrial parks in Youjiang District and Tianyang District serve as the cores, focusing on terminal manufacturing such as furniture and home furnishings. Lingyun, Tianlin, Xilin, and other places serve as bases, focusing on midstream and upstream products such as panels. Scientific layout has promoted efficient coordination between upstream and downstream links of the industrial chain. At present, Baise's seven key forestry-related parks cover a total area of more than 37,000 mu, with cumulative investment of RMB 6.2. billion.
Clear planning and increasingly improved platforms have attracted key projects to settle. Major projects such as Shandong Luli Green Digital-Intelligent Home Furnishing Industrial Park have been launched one after another, injecting new momentum into cluster development. Driven by major projects, local enterprises have grown rapidly, forming a tiered development trend. In 2025, Baise had 141 enterprises above designated size in wood processing and papermaking, including 18 enterprises with output value exceeding RMB 100 million. Products from enterprises such as Baise Fenglin Wood-Based Panels and Chunsheng Paper have been stably supplied to well-known national brands such as Oppein and Sophia.
The growth of local enterprises has directly promoted product structure upgrading. From Fenglin brand fiberboard to Tianshixiang brand high-end paper, and then to customized home furnishings for consumers, a number of competitive local brands have emerged. In 2025, the industrial output value above designated size of Baise's papermaking and wood processing industry reached RMB 8.69 billion, up 18.8% year on year. Baise's forestry industry is steadily moving from raw material and intermediate product supply toward high-value links of branding and terminal products.
