On the morning of March 9, at the high-end panel and green smart home furnishing industrial park in Lanshan District, Linyi, the Xingcheng Smart Living Eco City project was in full swing racing against time. Processes such as steel bar binding and concrete pouring were tightly coordinated and carried out in an orderly way.
The park covers a total area of 6,500 mu. Twenty landed projects have already been completed and are expected to be fully put into use by the end of this year. The busy construction scene shows the acceleration of project construction. At present, the roads connecting the plant areas have basically been hardened, and construction teams are carrying out greening and beautification work. A brand-new wood industry upgrading zone is gaining full momentum.

The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee proposed building a modern industrial system and consolidating and strengthening the foundation of the real economy. It emphasized adhering to the directions of intelligentization, green development and integration, and required the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries. The wood industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Lanshan District. The district currently has 472 enterprises above designated size in the high-end board and green smart home industry chain. Lanshan has established a special team for the high-end board and green smart home industry chain, formulated the Lanshan District High-end Board and Green Smart Home Industry Upgrading and Development Plan, and prepared industry chain maps, layout maps and investment attraction maps, continuously working on strengthening technology innovation, improving brand value and expanding overseas markets.
As the core carrier for the transformation and upgrading of Linyi's wood industry, Xingcheng Smart Living Eco-city breaks the single clustering model of traditional parks and reconstructs a new industrial ecosystem with the concept of an ecological community. It is understood that the project has a planned total floor area of about 185,000 square meters. With high-standard hardware configuration, it will create a comprehensive industrial platform that can meet enterprises' needs for full-chain aggregated development.
According to staff, the Lanshan District high-end board and green smart home industry park is planned to achieve a shift from scattered and extensive to clustered and intensive development, with unified construction of multi-story factories and a 2.5-fold increase in land utilization; a shift from low-end traditional to green, high-end and intelligent development, where enterprises connect with first-tier brands, realize order-based production, introduce domestic and overseas intelligent equipment, improve production efficiency, use environmentally friendly materials, support biomass power generation projects and promote zero-carbon development; and a shift from fighting alone to chain-based clustering, improving the full industrial chain, forming a one-kilometer supply chain, building a supply-demand matching platform, and joining China Grand Market to build an industrial belt and help the commercial city go overseas.
In addition to supporting services, the park is actively building industry-university-research platforms, promoting cooperation between enterprises and more than 10 universities including Nanjing Forestry University and Northeast Forestry University, and building an integrated industrial ecosystem.
While advancing project construction at full speed, the park adheres to the development concept of retaining people with industry and attracting people with environment. It has planned at a high starting point to build a main road network pattern of four vertical and five horizontal roads, improving people's quality of life. At present, four roads, Lanfu Road, Tuanjie Road, Fushui Road and Fenghuang Avenue, have been successfully opened to traffic. In addition, high-quality school places will be provided to meet the nearby schooling needs of employees' children in the park. After the Tuanbutun resettlement community is completed, it can accommodate 3,500 residents and will provide solid quality-of-life support for the park's development.
