Its high-end new three-layer solid wood flooring has quickly gained traction in the Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan markets thanks to its strong environmental performance and high wear resistance.

Tang Huoshui, general manager of Guizhou Jusheng Wood Industry Co., Ltd., said that this product is a new three-layer solid wood floor that fits market demand well and makes use of Sandu's local timber resources, offering strong cost performance.

It is understood that Guizhou Jusheng Wood Industry Co., Ltd. has currently absorbed 123 local villagers into employment. Since opening in April 2025, the enterprise has achieved sales of RMB 36 million with the support of a stable order volume.

Xintaiyuan Wood Industry, located in Zhonghe Town, is also a newly established forestry enterprise. Here, timber selection, board-core cutting, and the reuse of waste wood to dry board cores are carried out in an orderly production flow. Workers on the assembly line operate in an organized manner and use environmentally friendly technologies to expand product sales both inside and outside the province. In just one year, the company achieved production in the same year it was launched and also reached the threshold for enterprises above designated size in that same year, becoming a vivid example of the clustered and green development of Sandu's forestry industry.

Zhang Renxin, chairman of Guizhou Xintaiyuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., said that the company mainly produces fragrant fir board cores, uses soybean-based formaldehyde-free environmentally friendly adhesive, and sells its products mainly to Hubei, Shandong, Zhejiang, and local enterprises in Sandu County. In 2025, its output value reached about RMB 32.5. million, and its sales exceeded RMB 28 million.

Zhang Renxin has his own distinctive approach to enterprise innovation and management. Xintaiyuan Wood Industry actively absorbs labor for employment and uses industrial development to drive income growth for local people, becoming an important force in enriching residents and strengthening enterprises. Under the industrial layout of building, extending, supplementing, and strengthening the chain, it is helping Sandu County build a distinctive forestry brand described as one ethnic group, one board.

Zhang Renxin said that the company's innovation mainly comes from detailed workshop management, with fixed posts and clear responsibilities at assembly-line workstations. At the same time, it focuses on waste utilization, energy saving, and carbon reduction. In the next step, the company will optimize product quality, build its own distinctive brand, and contribute to the high-quality development of Sandu Autonomous County and its forestry industry.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Sandu Shui Autonomous County has adhered to the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. Taking the forestry industry as a breakthrough point, it has followed a clustered development path that delivers both ecological and economic benefits through precise investment attraction and industrial chain cultivation. It has introduced 97 enterprises and 172 projects, including Jusheng Wood Industry and China Power. It is estimated that in 2025, the growth rate of industrial added value above designated size will reach 25%, up 35.5. percentage points from 2020, while forestry industry output will account for 46% of the county's total industrial output above designated size.

From laying the foundation of industrial clusters during the 14th Five-Year Plan period to pursuing quality improvement and leapfrogging during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the growth trajectories of Jusheng Wood Industry and Xintaiyuan Wood Industry are vivid examples of the high-quality development of Sandu's forestry industry. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, relying on the east-west cooperation platform and precise investment attraction policies, enterprises took root in Sandu's fertile resource base. They not only drove employment and income growth for farmers, but also promoted the county's forestry industrial chain from scattered processing toward intensive and high-end development.

Wu Dan, deputy director of the Sandu Autonomous County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, said that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the number of forestry enterprises above designated size in Sandu increased from 5. at the beginning of the period to 11 by the end. In 2025, the total output value of the forestry industry reached RMB 460 million, accounting for about 46% of the county's industrial output above designated size.

Looking ahead to the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Sandu will continue to strengthen policy support and factor support, activate forest resources, promote continuous quality and efficiency improvement among forestry enterprises, and enhance production efficiency and market competitiveness. Wang Chengguang, Party secretary and director of the Sandu Autonomous County Forestry Bureau, said that next, the county will actively support the development of the forestry industry.
